What car LCD screens serve for
Over the years, car industry have developed fast enough to provide people a great deal of convenience and enjoyment. In the car entertainment, the advent of car LCD screen has resulted in a number of amazing applications. Today, the selection of LCD screen for vehicle devices becomes one of the most important issues which car owners have much concern about.
There are many sizes and formats (regular or wide screen) of car LCD screens available for various car types on the market, and they range from about 7 inches to 12 inches. You can install a base mounted LCD monitor if there is enough room in your car, or you can hook up an in-dash monitor that is smaller and compact to save space.
With car LCD screens, the car can be turned into a mobile home theater. The LCD monitors are able to bring us great enjoyment of pictures and videos by their clear contrast and high resolution. Some LCD screens also come with USB touch screen capabilities. Thanks to the small, light and thin car LCD monitors, we canmountTV, DVD players as well as video game consoles and use computers in our beloved vehicles. When we drive out for a trip, we can entertain ourselves by watching TV, enjoying amusing movies, and even playing exciting video games through a clear LCD monitor. Car LCD monitors have much in common in terms of multiple functions for entertainment in a vehicle, but still differ in some features. According to different installation positions, there are in-dash LCD monitors, overhead filp down monitors, headrest car LCD monitors, portable LCD monitors, and sunvisor monitors.
An in-dash LCD screen is installed in the dashboard of the front seat. The type of monitors enables the driver to see the screen easily and clearly, assist the driver in finding routes or reversing cars as long as it is integrated with a GPS navigation system or a rear view camera.
An overhead flip down screen is mounted from the ceiling so that passengers in the back seats can view the video. The LCD screen can be as big as 24 inches while other monitors ranging from 10 to 15 inches will look huge in other locations of the vehicle. Overhead LCD monitors can be flipped up and folded to save space when they are not in use.
Headrest LCD screens are usually mounted in pairs in the headrest. They are especially disigned for the entertainment for people in the back seats. Headrest car DVD often consists of two monitors which run separately so that passengers can enjoy their own entertainment without mutual interference. That is to say, a passenger can play video games while the other can watch TV on another monitor. This is particularly helpful if there are children in the vehicle arguing for what to view on the screen.
A portable LCD monitor can be a good option if you would like to use it in multiple vehicles or other places outside the car. It is usually part of a DVD player or digital television, and it can run on batteries if there are no power sources. A portabe LCD screen will provide you great pleasure of wonderful movies, images and even live digital television, no matter where you are, such as in the car, on a bike, or on a train.
A sun visor LCD screen can be installed in any vehicle which comes with a sun visor. In general, the monitors are about 7 to 9 inches in size. It is the model that makes it feasible to show the passengers in the front seat wonderful videos on the screen.
The applications of car LCD screens have brought people kinds of enjoyment in the driving. In addition to in car entertainment, some of such monitors also provide additional convenience by conjunctions with some innovative technologies like GPS, hand held computers, wireless communications, satellite communications, etc. To choose suitable LCD monitors for our vehicles is as essential as to find a suitable partner in the life.
