What do you think of this short story plot?

Nick buys car when he gets his driver’s license. Nick finds ad in paper with car for cheap. Nick goes to place to buy the car and weird guy sales it to him. Nick and friends go on a night on the town and go to put something in the trunk of the car and there is a dead body in it. Nick calls the cops, cops keep him in jail as a suspect. Nick goes him exhausted and wakes up to his mother doing scrap books, mother asks for help and Nick helps and sees the man who sold him the car in one of the photo albums. Nick asks mom if she knew this man and mom answers no. Nick goes back to the man’s house to investigate and finds a picture of him in the mans room. Man walks in on Nick and pulls a gun on Nick. Man says “Don’t make me shoot you son.”

Kinda simple really.

it sounds like the beginnings of an awesome plot..

my advice.. just start writing and if you are determined to write a story.. and you keep working on it? the plot will develop and move on it’s own..

the main thing is to keep writing! ideas will come as you write! i have found this to be true in my own personal writings..

another useful thing to do is.. find a co-author.. they will keep you accountable and the story will get written faster.. i know that personally.. i’ve started many stories.. but i’ve never gotten past 10 pages.. right now i’m working on a story with a friend of mine.. and we have over 100 pages typed.. and it’s not finished yet.. having a co-author gives motivation and will keep things moving..
