Why do I get black screens when I am using Windows Movie Maker?

I followed directions for Window Movie Maker and loaded about 120 photos onto the frames. I made a title and one or two pages with titles inbetween. Everything looked fine on the frames when I reviewed them on the bottom of screen. When all was finished and I viewed the movie, there were several black annoying screens here and there to ruin the whole thing. I wonder why this happened. In addition, one of the title pages in the middle was missing. I’m new at this and can use all the help I can get. Also, how can I add music to the movie? The photos were of a trip to Mexico, and it would be nice to have some Mexican music in the film. Thank you.
